Felicia Howe | Stylist | Owner

Originally from Oregon, Felicia Howe grew up in a hippie community committed to a return to the basics, including growing one's own food. After completing cosmetology school, Felicia relocated to Los Angeles.

After working for several years as a hair stylist, Felicia found her true passion in owning her own salon. The Dollhouse Salon opened in 2003 in Los Feliz, California. Dollhouse was instantly successful with both individual clients and special events such as the Coachella music festival.

Moving on from Dollhouse, Felicia worked independently for a year while conceptualizing and planning another salon that would create an environment in which she could truly grow and flourish. In the meantime, after noticing herself developing physical reactions to the strong chemicals used in standard hair products, Felicia began switching to organic products. She noticed immediate improvement in her own symptoms, and her clients responded favorably to the new products as well.

Teaming with partner Melissa Tornay, Felicia learned more about organic beauty products. With the goal of opening a fully organic salon, they researched to identify the best of the best organic hair and skin products; those that deliver great results but without using harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients.

"The goal is to not only help people and make them feel good inside as well as outside, but to help people be more aware of what they are putting on their bodies," Howe said.
